  1. Taste of London Regent’s Park

This foodie bonanza brings 36 of London’s tastiest and most innovative restaurants to the royal park. In addition, there are 150 artisan producers and food-themed activities including workshops, demos, and crazy golf. An admission pass enables you to take your pick from the tastings and sessions. Stalls represent British and international cuisine with tastes to suit all palates as well as vegans. The food is accompanied by a mixture of craft cocktails and refreshing soft drinks.

  1. West End LIVE

Are you looking for budget-friendly things to do while staying in central hotels in London? Check out West End LIVE: a free weekend of celebrating musical theatre in Trafalgar Square. The event pools the most celebrated West End musicals with the line-up including Disey’s Frozen, Hamilton, the Tina Turner Musical, and Wicked. Admission is free and works on a first come, first served basis.

  1. London Design Biennale & Eureka 

London Design Biennale is an interactive and kinetic exhibition of design and innovation from across the globe. This year’s theme is “Global Game: Remapping Collaborations”. Forty-five pavilions represent five continents, 40 artists, and 50 countries. This unique event gives you the opportunity to weave tapestry, participate in multi-sensory bread baking, and watch an AI Robot at work.

  1. Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre 

Experience theatre under the stars at this annual and award-winning program of outdoor performance at London’s prettiest park. The schedule for summer 2023 includes Robin Hood (17 June to 22 July), The Tempest (30 June to 22 July), and Dinosaur World Live (11 August to 3 September). Children are welcome and this is one of the best activities for families of Central Park Hotels. However, parents are required to refer to the specific guidelines for each show.

  1. Summer Exhibition at the Royal Academy of Arts

The Summer Exhibition is one of the principal exhibitions at the Royal Academy of Arts on Picadilly. This themed, open submission exhibition invites established and emerging artists to submit their work for inclusion. The theme for the 2023 topic is “Only Connect” and you can anticipate an assortment of paintings, film, photography, sculpture, and architectural creations. This is one of the best things to do near central hotels in London on a rainy day in June – or to escape a heatwave.
